The statements (German: Rechenschaftsberichte) are a requirement by German association law to inform the members of the association about the fullfilled & ongoing tasks / projects after ending their tenure. These are to show that everything has been done properly.
General structure of a statement:
- introduction about your general tasks
- projects & challenges during your term
- what did you learn / cherish being a board member
- congratulations to the members of the association who helped you on your way, or from the outside as well
